Because there is no archery class this term, and some of you use archery for your skills, I will be conducting open archery, spear-throwing classes and other target practice on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Anyone is welcome to come, but if you decide to goof off, you might be used as a target.
MENTORSI suggest an evening for the mentors to get together before ranking week. Friday? Saturday?

This is your chance to prove to your countries that you deserved to come here. For all the rest of you, if you cannot improve your scores from the last year that bodes ill for the upcoming tournament.

The Junior Axiom program is, in my opinion, an excellent addition to Camulus. I applaud the Executive Student Council for developing it, especially President Onyango. In addition to preparing the students of Camulus that will join Axiom, I imagine that the chance to assist in Axiom-related projects can help other students consider different areas of work that they would find fulfilling when their education is complete. I wish such a program had been available to me when I was a student. I am also proud of the students who spoke up. The media can be difficult and accusations are easily made from the other side of the microphone. But I am sure all of you will conduct yourselves in an appropriate manner instead of participating in the program for attention.
I hope all of my juniors will consider this. If anyone of you would like to meet with me and discuss whether or not this is something that would benefit you, I would be happy to meet with you.
PRINCIPLES OF COMBATExcellent work this week. We will continue our hand to hand combat. On Tuesday each of you will spar with me so I can identify your weak areas. Friday I will be randomly pairing you together, and will score your abilities in hand to hand combat. Continue to do your homework work outs. RAFE VUILLEElin Tyrsdottir will be joining us in the mornings. CARYS LLEWELLYNProfessor Cole told me that you would like to come under my tutage. I'm happy to work with you. Are you available to meet on Tuesday?

STAFFThis is belated, but I do want to thank all of you for your support. It was an unnerving experience for me, but your support and lack of jumping to conclusions was extremely helpful.
AMAZONSWatching all of you this week made me miss my old days at the house.
PRINCIPLES OF COMBATGood work this week. I'm glad we were able to move on from the incident. Remember to continue your homework exercises. We will begin hand-to-hand combat on Monday. However, I will be testing your stances before we begin. If you are too easy to knock over, you will be running laps and lifting weights in the training facility. As long as you are doing your prescribed workouts every day you should be prepared to stand up to the stance test.
On February 26th I would be happy to escort any of you to the Quabbin Reservoir. You will be res, but there is a bus that runs from near the school to Belchertown. From there we will run approximately 20 miles to Nichewaug. Please let me know if you are interested, so I can give you more information and we can plan to take the bus together.

If I were to organize a run around the Quabbin Reservoir for a weekend, would any students be interested?
PRINCIPLES OF COMBAT STUDENTSI know that all of you have been bored by four days of stances and breathing. If you come to class ready to participate and can demonstrate that you have perfected your stances, we will begin working principles of knives.
